Good morning, this is Topher, from Washington Church of Christ, bringing you a message minute.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, now is an appropriate time to talk about the KISS method.  I like the KISS life philosphy.  You know, K-I-S-S that stands for "Keep It Simple Silly!" Often we ask pretty hard and complicated questions of God, such as, what's my purpose in life? What am I supposed to be doing?  God what do you want?

Well, if you've been struggling what the Maker of the cosmos wants from you, then learn with me from the prophet Micah. (6:6-8)

With what shall I come before the Lord
and bow down before the exalted God?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
    with calves a year old?
Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousand rivers of olive oil?
Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

Today, let's keep it simple and don't stress out over divine purposes, but rather act justly toward your neighbor, show mercy toward your loved ones, and walk humbly with your God.  You'll be glad you did.
