In July of 1997 I was blessed to be the part of a team from Smyrna Church of Christ in Smyrna, TN that travelled to Novosibirsk, Siberia. Our primary focus for the two week short term mission was to teach Bible classes in an area that was predominantly Eastern Orthodox Catholic religion. My teaching topic was the book of "Jude."
Tegucigalpa, Honduras
Christopher recently organized and led the 2014 and 2015 mission trips. Christopher has been on the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 mission trips.

Most of our time there is spent in the capital of Tegucigalpa and outlying villages. We were blessed in 2012 to be able to build 6 homes for families, feed locals who lived in the city dump, visit the Honduran School for the blind, do maintenance and construction around Casa De Esperanza (House of Hope - A Children's Home), and spend the night and distribute food bags in the remote village of Guajire where we have been striving to build relationships over the last three years.
Matanzas (Cuba)
In March of 2019 I traveled to Cuba with the Missions Ministry Leader for our church, Jimmy Wallace. He's been to Cuba 7 times already and helped me get my feet wet as we get to know our opportunities planning a work trip for July of 2019. You'll see more info soon about the effort!
