I'm Always Forgetting - Message Minute

Good morning!  This is Topher from Washington Church of Christ bringing you a positive Message Minute.   Like many of you, I enjoy watching what is trending on social media, and Twitter is an easy place to spot the most popular hashtags.

This happy Wednesday morning the most popular includes one that I haven’t seen before,  #ImAlwaysForgetting. It’s an entertaining trend that includes comments such as, “#ImAlwaysForgetting where I put the lighter.” By Kitty and “#ImAlwaysForgetting to take it out the microwave.” By Bless D’Natasia. Many of us can identify with lost novelties and cold foods but this next one can change the way we start our day if we aren’t always forgetting it. Frank from Florida tweets,

“#ImAlwaysForgetting to be thankful for what God has put in my life.”
Frank from Florida does a great job of reminding us not to focus on the small negative setbacks from unlit cigs and uneaten food, but rather to focus on the blessings of the day.  That’s exactly the wisdom shared by the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Have you got an encouraging Message Minute idea? Send me a tweet, snap, or instagram to @topherwiles, and don’t forget to change your day by finding something to be thankful for this morning.  You’ll be glad you did.

Message Minutes are sponsored by  Washington Church of Christ and recorded for the public 107.9 The Memories WAMW morning radio program.  They air at approximately 7:35am on Weekday Mornings.
