Hondo Info #07 - Prayer and Packing

Honduras Hope Missions 2014

Email Newsletter #07 - Prayer and Packing

It's coming soon!  The plaques and the travel tshirts are in.  I have spoken to Allen Burris (leader from Mitchell, IN), Karen Guido (director of the children's home), Terri Tindall (our American missions guide), and Leopoldo Villancorta (Honduran evangelist) all this morning.  Things are set and ready to go!  "Esta Listo!" is what Leopoldo said about the church in Guajire!  ("It is ready!")  (Click on names to go to their Facebook page.)

Are you ready for God to use you?  It is simply a matter of prayer and packing.  I texted with Chad Marshall yesterday asking, "Are you packing shoes this year?"  "Yes, it's on the top of my list!" he replied.  Just in case you are nervous about forgetting something, let me and Chad assure you, we all forget something. God will provide shoes or whatever you forgot and use you anyway. Don't stress about it.

Thursday night was special for us because we stopped in Bowling Green, KY to eat with Sadie Essig and Emma Woody along with their family.  We're excited to see how God will use these wonderful ladies on this trip.  We were also blessed to have dinner with Merritt Goff who was a huge blessing from last year's trip!

Last Sunday I had the privilege of worshiping with Bryan Cox in Portland, TN.  He was a vital part of last year's crew and he and Fountain Head Church of Christ are praying for another successful trip this year with us!

If you are looking for past HondoInfos that had questions, flight information, people, and packing lists you can access all the past emails by clicking the links in this archive list.
Be sure to send your questions.  Remember to tell you family and friends to bookmark www.topherwiles.com for regular trip updates.  I'll see you all by noon on Monday!
Sincerely,
Christopher Wiles
