Baby Wiles - Living Lessons: Bulletin Article -Sunday- Dec 8th, 2013

“Hugs can do great amounts of good, especially for children.” – Princess Diana
“Children are great imitators.  Give them something great to imitate.” – Anonymous

First moments with Gabriel.

On Monday morning, if the Lord is willing, we will be at the hospital holding our family's newest member.  We don't know yet whether baby Wiles is a boy or a girl, skinny or chubby, bald or wooly.  What we do know is that God is blessing our family and our church with another opportunity to love.
First moments with Ethan.

What an honor it is to hold, love, and cherish young life as it makes its debut into this world.

Jesus put a high honor on children in Mark 10:14-16 where the Scripture says, "’Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’  Then Jesus took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them."

In honor of this moment and the Holy God who inspired these verses,  I'd like to ask you to make dedicated time today to shower love and affection on the children God has put around you.  Hug them, hold them, and tell them how much they mean to you.
